Episode summary

Looking back on the party, everyone agrees it was great—and international. Marc comes from France, Sascha from Russia, and Selma from Syria. When Nico struggles for the English word refugee, he learns the German Flüchtling. The friends wonder whether Selma may stay in Germany; nobody is sure yet because she still has no residence permit. They praise how well she speaks German and note that she is taking a German course and learning quickly. The chat shifts to languages: Nico speaks Spanish, a little English, and a little German. Another friend speaks German, English, and Italian—but admits the Italian is weak. Nawin lists an impressive set from Thailand: Thai, Chinese, English, German, French, and Italian. Suddenly someone calls the group over: the photo of aunt Yara has a reply, and with it an address.
